There is no denying Pakistan Army is the supreme institution in Pakistan. All diplomatic meetings invlove presence of army officials. Pakistan has seen numerous coups. And what not?
But during war Indian army leaves it way behind. We are advanced, larger in numbers and battle ready.

Well both of the answers are one sided . Even the facts stated in other answers are not entirely wrong in terms of numbers . I agree Pakistan Military may not have that much man power . But in terms of equipment Pakistan is much more advanced and has got more of the armour as well as vehicles . And the senior officers are well trained in operations at higher levels. Pakistan don't have an Army. Terrorists from all over the world are sheltered there and presented to world as their army. These terrorists don't even know which country territorist gathered them. With no identity they join terrorists organisation like TRF, LeT etc etc in Pakistan. Had Pakistan had an army it would have faced India in war but decides to attack innocent civilians in India from back which is financially viable for them. Not even the poorest countries in the world even in Africa go begging to other countries with a bowl but Pak does. PM Modi did a wonderful job by bringing development in J&K who would have thought of creating tunnels and rail network there but Modi did. All that fund spend there would have brought prosperity to other States in India but he wanted to ipeople of Kashmir to be a part and parcel of India's progress.
